Support for Chat PDF Exporter

This page covers common setup and export issues. The extension runs locally in your browser and does not use a remote service to process conversations.

Basic checks

• Open or reload a ChatGPT conversation on https://chatgpt.com.
• Confirm the floating Export PDF button appears near the lower right of the page.
• If the toolbar popup says the page did not respond, reload the ChatGPT tab and try again.
• If a direct PDF export is blocked by a cross-origin image, use Print view and save as PDF from Chrome's print dialog.

What can be exported

The extension can export selected assistant answers, a recent prompt/answer pair, full conversations, or a single assistant response. It is designed for visible ChatGPT content, including Markdown, tables, code, links, math formulas, diagrams, charts, and safe static previews.

Privacy

Conversation content is handled locally in the browser for the export you request. Review the privacy policy for the full data handling disclosure.

For faster diagnosis, include your Chrome version, operating system, supported ChatGPT URL host, export mode, visible error text, and whether Print view worked. Do not paste private conversation content into support reports; summarize the failure instead.
